After some ups and downs our life took a dramatic turn for the better when we recieved a call on Feb. 4th to return to Oklahoma to meet your babyboy. On February 5th we were finally able to hold our baby boy. It was getting late and our adoption liasson was driving through Norman and we decided to meet them at Braums (a ice cream shop a 1/2 mile from my brother-in-laws house). We arrived with excitement and not much of an appetite because we could not wait to see our little bundle of joy. My brother in laws family and my mother and step father were able to be there for that wonderful moment when he finally arrived. Little Carson Mackenzie is everything we had hoped and more! We had decided on Carson (from Johnny Carson and Mackenzie from the main character of a great book called "The Shack").
