One crazy September!

It started of with Grammie's visit. Then a week later we were evacuating with 2 other familes. We spent the night Ike actually came ashore in a hotel in Katy. Then went to San Antonio for a week since we could not come home yet. Carson had lots of fun playing with the other kids and even took his first trip to the zoo. He wasn't impressed by the animals, but rather the strap on his stroller. Our house is fine, just some lost shingles, our entire fence and our cable dish were victims. No teeth yet, but we're looking for one any day now. Watch the attached videos to see what Carson did today!
Hangin with Grammie!

I got wheels!!! Enjoying a drink with Daddy while watching the OSU game. Someday Carson will be able to enjoy an ice cold IBC too.

While we were packing for the evacuation, Carson discovered Ernie.
Napping with Daddy at the hotel.
Some people don't need electricity to find fun.Who needs animals? I've got this cool strap! All tuckered out...Playing with Miss Tricia during our "hurrication".
I'm seeing cars in his future for some reason...

Carson, tell Daddy to head to his nearest Lowes or Home Depot to purchase a pair of knee pads (size extra small) for your newest mode of travel (crawling). I am sure your Daddy will buy them for you once he figures out it's the next best thing for a full cardio workout(you'll go faster and then Daddy has to move faster). Good idea, huh?
Grammie loves you big and now when I get the blues all I have to do is look at our picture on here and pretend I've still got you in my lap. You put a smile in Grammie's heart "Baby Mac" that nobody can take away. (oh no.. I see a nick-name here!) Baby Mac for a small fry and as you grow bigger we can call you "Big Mac." Do you think McDonalds would approve of that? Also we can make commercials like Jared did for Subway and earn some college bucks for your future. Imagine this, free happy meals for the rest of your life!
I love you baby boy. Grammie
